Spring/Summer 2008 Kids Picture Video

"Take it From Me" - The Weepies

Fishin'

It has been a month of firsts for Grant. First day of school, first baseball game and now his first time fishing. For the last several weeks he has been wanting to buy a fishing rod with his "spend wisely" money from his $2/week allowance (spend wisely is what is left after tithes and savings). After he had enough money to buy one we picked up a Shakespeare Spiderman model last week and set out Saturday morning to snag a mess of them. We went to a little lake 7-8 miles from the house and ended up catching one small perch on a grub worm.

First T-Ball Game

The 4/5 year-old Hebron T-Ball Braves won their first game tonight 12-11! Grant (#8) went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs...much better than dad did his first game. He must have inherited his mom's softball skills. The bottom pic is him playing in the "circle" on defense.
